We don't just advise. We embed within your team to implement, build capability, and transfer knowledge — so the improvements we deliver endure long after our engagement ends.

Mahmoud Warriah BSc FCA

Founder & Managing Director

Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA)
BSc Computer Science
PRINCE2 Practitioner
25+ years across Grant Thornton, HP, BT, Telefonica, Centrica, Thames Water, WorldRemit, and Sorted Group (AIM)

Career Highlights

As CFO of Sorted Group Holdings plc, Mahmoud led the company's AIM listing — opening the London Stock Exchange in February 2024 — overhauled the finance function, reduced operational costs by 70%, and refocused the business following the divestment of the Clicksit unit. Major enterprise clients including M&S, Dyson, ASOS, and Boohoo were retained and expanded under his leadership.

As CFO of the Gina Group, he implemented Dataflow ERP across finance, stock, and purchasing, launched the Shopify Plus e-commerce platform (delivering 1,200% growth in online sales), negotiated an £80M franchise agreement, and supported expansion into North America, Europe, and China.

Prior to these roles, Mahmoud led finance transformation programmes at Centrica/Bord Gais (SAP S/4HANA), managed a €350M outsourcing contract at Telefonica O2 through HP, and scoped an £85M CRM programme at Thames Water.

He now works with investors, founders, and boards to rapidly professionalise finance functions, build cash visibility, and enable transactions — whether that's preparing for exit, integrating an acquisition, or building a finance team that can keep pace with a growing business.

"Precision in reporting builds trust. Your financials should be a clear reflection of the company's health."
